The Art of Roger Wallenstein

I wrote more about this German lawyer, but I can't get enough of his work. It is really unique, he has the guts to be different. Wallenstein makes only pipes he would like to smoke. Most of them are very short, but I would not call it a nosewarmer, because most bowls are big. I bought 12 new pipes from him, not cheap, but those are worth having in stock. Again you can see the nice colours he uses.

Olive Wood Pipes of Molina

The famous Italian pipe manufactuar Molina is is an old company that has it's origins in Barasso in Lombardy. There base was the old Rossi pipe factory from the early 1900's. The still work in a part of the original building.
The series they make are not expensive, but have a good quality and a nice range of different shapes. there new serie is made of olive wood. A lot of customers were interested in pipes made of olive wood, but it was hard to get. Olive wood is vulnerable and I advise it only to pipe smokers with experience. The colour is bright and the grains are much different from the briar grains. It is always nice to complete your collection with such beauties.
